Angela Thackery is an experienced nursing leader with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including over a decade specializing in behavioral health, addiction treatment, and nursing leadership. She earned degrees in both Nursing and Health and Human Services and is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while fostering clinical excellence across every level of treatment.

As Director of Nursing at United Recovery Project’s Lake Worth location, Angela oversees all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality medical care while supporting and mentoring the nursing team. She works collaboratively with physicians, clinical leadership, and operational staff to promote exceptional patient outcomes, strengthen nursing practices, and maintain the highest standards of care.

Angela’s extensive background includes experience in hospital settings as well as behavioral healthcare, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on patient care and healthcare operations. She is highly experienced in regulatory compliance and accreditation standards, including those established by The Joint Commission, the Department of Children and Families (DCF), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Her expertise in quality improvement, nursing operations, and regulatory readiness plays a key role in maintaining clinical excellence throughout the organization.
