Robert Hooper is a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and Primary Therapist with extensive experience helping individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and has dedicated his career to providing compassionate, individualized care that promotes lasting recovery and personal growth.

Originally from New Jersey, Robert developed a strong clinical foundation working with individuals facing complex, dual-diagnosis conditions. Throughout his career, he has received specialized training in behavior modification, anxiety management, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help patients develop healthy coping strategies and build resilience throughout the recovery process.

As a Primary Therapist at United Recovery Project’s Lake Worth location, Robert works closely with patients to create individualized treatment plans, facilitate both individual and group therapy, and help clients address the emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges that often accompany addiction. He also incorporates Adventure-Based Counseling techniques and experiential group activities designed to encourage personal growth, strengthen communication, build trust, and develop confidence in recovery.

Robert has a strong background in theological studies and recognizes the importance of addressing the emotional and spiritual aspects of healing. He is especially passionate about helping individuals navigate family dynamics, including the unique challenges experienced by adult children of alcoholics. Through his compassionate, strengths-based approach, Robert empowers patients to build healthier relationships, develop greater self-awareness, and achieve lasting recovery.
