The Residential Addiction Treatment Program is anchored by eight thoughtfully placed buildings; all within our beautifully manicured, and most of all, highly-private campus in charming Lake Worth, Florida.

All-in-all, the Genesis House Residential Program has a very relaxed and proven daily regimen of group therapy, conversations, process and trauma groups, as well as educational and creative groups to keep you or your loved one engaged and on track with your individual goals.
The First Responder Recovery Program at Genesis House treats the unique experiences of uniformed professionals in a private and confidential setting. Clients in this program benefit from specialized individual and small group therapy sessions led by Dr. Philip Bulone. Dr. Bulone is a retired First Responder who specializes in trauma-informed care and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Clients with co-occurring disorders (COD) typically have one or more disorders relating to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs, as well as one or more mental disorders. A client can be described as having co-occurring disorders when at least one disorder of each type can be established, independent of the other, and is not simply a cluster of symptoms resulting from another disorder.
Highly individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis from Genesis House’s expert Psychiatrist and Clinical Team are crucial in effectively treating our patients and unquestionably the reason for our consistent success in treating Dual Diagnosis conditions.

One of our specialized programs include a Christian track for people who want to incorporate their faith into their treatment. Many people seek guidance and support through their religion, and our Christian track blends well with our basis in the traditional 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
First Responder friendly.
Another specialty program we offer is the Uniformed Services track. We understand that police officers, EMTs, firefighters and other emergency responders have extremely stressful jobs that can be physically and emotionally taxing, which sometimes leads to substance abuse or dependency. This is why we have developed a specific program to address those unique issues.

Drugs and alcohol are both physically and psychologically addicting. Addiction is a chronic mental disease that causes an individual to compulsively seek and abuse substances despite negative consequences and the intense desire to quit. These symptoms can last for an extended period of time and are dependent upon the substance of choice and the severity of the addiction.
