Tracy Piendle, MSW
Primary Therapist
Tracy Piendle is a Primary Therapist at URP Lake Worth (Genesis House) who is passionate about helping individuals heal from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders through compassionate, evidence-based care. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and her Master of Social Work from Grand Canyon University and is currently working toward independent clinical licensure as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI).
Before transitioning into the behavioral health and addiction treatment field, Tracy built a distinguished 30-year career as a Certified Child Forensic Interviewer. Throughout her career, she specialized in trauma-informed interviewing of children with disabilities, reluctant child victims, survivors of human trafficking, and witnesses to violent crimes. She became nationally recognized for her expertise, presenting at conferences across the country and educating multidisciplinary professionals on forensic interviewing, trauma, and child abuse investigations. Today, she brings that extensive trauma-informed background and clinical expertise to individuals seeking recovery.
As a Primary Therapist, Tracy works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic interventions, and help clients build the skills needed for lasting recovery. Her approach is rooted in empathy, trust, and the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to heal and create a meaningful, fulfilling life.
As a person in long-term recovery, Tracy is deeply committed to sharing the message that lasting recovery is possible. She finds the greatest fulfillment in helping patients rediscover their strengths, build resilience, and recognize their capacity for meaningful change. Outside of work, Tracy enjoys practicing hot yoga, staying active through fitness, spending time at the beach, and making memories with her family and beloved pets.
